Randall Hall Knockdown, Day 3

Doesn't look like much got done today in the demolition, but of course I can't see the back side...

I had a nice visit this afternoon with 87 year young Bud Moore, former Headmaster of New Hampton School, who is also was an alumni of the Class of 1938 and will be honored along with wife Jinga this May as he attends his 70th Anniversary Reunion. He actually lived in Randall on the infamous 4th floor during his senior year, and is still very active in NHS affairs.

Bud told me that the new Science and Math Building that will rise in Randall's place will be a fitting replacement. The architect has designed it to fit in perfectly with the older buildings to either side, and it will be the same height as they are (3 stories). He claims that from the street, it will look almost identical to the one now being torn down.
