"Hey Seufhead!" was what the guy pictured above said to me whenever he saw me-this would be the pride of Hoboken New Jersey, Gerard "Jerry" Citro, who lived in the dorm room directly next to the one Fred Willingham and I shared at UNH from 1972 til 1973. Citro was drafted to UNH on a basketball scholarship, and got run over by a drunk driver and broke his leg, which ended his college career.
The screen cap above was when he was featured in the early 1990's on ABC World News Tonight, when he was profiled as the oldest college player to retuen to school and make the vahsity team!
He's now a public school girl's basketball coach in Montclair, New Jersey, right down the road from the land of the Seufs, Nutley.
