Can't Leave Out Kaua'i...

Let's not forget my fave Hawaiian island, Kaua'i. It's long been called "The Garden Island", but more recently, as the story link below will prove, it's now also "Adventure Island". Be sure to check out the videos as you try and wade thru all of the confusing newspaper ads inserted in betwen the paragraphs.

Above: yours truly took this shot looking north over Kaua'i's Hanapepe Swinging Bridge in 2003. This bridge originally was similar to those scary bridges seen in the Himalayas but was rebuilt after Hurricane Iniki in 2003 to lawyer-friendly standards. Since I took this pic it has been blown down by another storm, and then rebuilt yet again!
