CONCORD, NH — The heavy snowfall in Concord, New Hampshire, this winter is four inches short of the record. Or maybe it's two inches.It turns out the woman who makes the official measurements for the National Weather Service in her back yard was in Florida for a week when 13 inches fell in mid-January. And so was her backup, who is her roommate.
