Inventor Takes Coast Guard Buoy, Makes Money!

"As part owner of Weber Bros. Metal Works, which made buoys for the Coast Guard, Stephen had an idea. He took one of the buoys, sawed it in half, welded on three metal legs to make it stand and drilled a few air vent holes.

He then welded on brackets to hold a grill and added the crown — a saucer-shaped top with handle.

Done with his invention at the office, he put it in the back of his station wagon and drove home."
