At Least It's Not Snow

Over 2 inches of rain have fallen on Saddle Hill over the past 36 hours with an additional 2 inches possible this afternoon alone. A month ago, this would have been 2 feet of snow.

My road was temporarily shut down this morning, when Merrill Pond filled up and overflowed the road. The town sent up their new Volvo "steam shovel", and it made short work of the problem.
