Major League Baseball not only lost a great announcer Monday, but also said "Aloha" to one of its true originals, pitcher Mark Fidrych. Mark was a breath of fresh air in MLB in the 1970s.

Some of us actually got to see him pitch here in New Hampshire while he was still a student at Worcester Academy.
