"Kent Couch of Bend, Oregon hopes to fly to Idaho (on July 5th) in his lawn chair that's lifted aloft by party balloons.

Each year Kent Couch has tried to fly to Idaho, he's improved his experimental aircraft. This year, he'll add more balloons and more water. He'll tie 150 - 160 helium filled balloons to a lawn chair along with jugs totaling 55 gallons of water. To fly higher, he empties containers of water and to fly lower he pops balloons.

Couch will launch from Bend and plans to be in the air 15 hours to hopefully reach Moscow, Idaho (300 miles away). He'll fly at an altitude of around 15,000 feet.
