I first heard Isaac's masterpiece "Hot Buttered Soul" in the fall of 1969. "Soul music" was changed forever. The album only had 4 songs, and two of them were pop songs, namely "Walk On By" and "By The Time I Get to Phoenix", which ran for almost 19 minutes!
