Nasty Weather

"While wind damage will be the main threat this afternoon from eastern Pennsylvania into the Northeast, I am concerned that parts of Upstate New York, Vermont and New Hampshire have a rare outbreak of tornadoes this afternoon and evening. Why, the jet comes over that area, the EHI values are running over 2.5 and the morning soundings/VAD wind profiles are showing good shear.

I know that area is very mountainous, but that might not stop any tornadoes from forming given the dynamics moving through that area."
