On the job in the late 1980s, I met Niels Nielsen, a cool old New Hampsha coot who lived on Fairgrounds Road in Plymouth NH. For many years Niels was the "Caretaker of the Old Man", namely the Old Man of the Mountain, which fell 5 years ago. Strangely enough, that day we somehow ended up instead talking about the Old Man's counterpart rock profile, the Indian Head about 5 miles to the south, which I had just recently climbed.
