I'm a life-long musicologist disguised as a real estate analyst living in the woods of central New Hampshire... After being weaned on Boston AM radio in the late 1950s, I "got religion" when our family moved to Hawai'i in 1963 and I first heard Ron Jacobs, Tom Moffatt and the rest of the "Poi Boys" on K-POI Radio, which was on 18 hours a day in our house until we moved to NY City in 1966...Of course, then it was 77 WABC, and within 3 years I was working in Top 40 radio myself, at the high school and college levels...Soon after that, I attended my first live concert, and it was all over...my ears have been bleeding ever since!
