1 cooking bag
suet
ground lamb
onions
oatmeal, rough cut
turnips
carrots
parsnips
celery
butter
beef broth
salt/pepper
Precook onions and meat in pan with butter. Set aside. Cook oatmeal,
adding meat and onion mix. Add melted suet. Place into cooking bag
along with remaining ingredients, adding enough broth to keep the bags
contents submerged at the bag's base. Tie off bag and prop upright in
baking pan. Cut two or three 1/2 inch slits into top of bag. Bake at
375 degrees for forty minutes or until done.
P.S. Don't overcook.
