About 5 miles due south from Saddle Hill as the crow flies is the Sanbornton hamlet of GAZA, not to be confused with the one in the Middle East.Gaza is noted for two things-NH Route 127 either begins or ends here, with its other terminus way down in Merrimack County some 40 or so miles away.
But Gaza is best known as the earthquake capitol of New Hampshire. They had a 4.4 in 1984, which I remember well.
