As I was taking a picture of the "new" Randall Hall in New Hampton Saturday, the huge 18-wheeler for the Boston Crusaders rolled into town as seen above. Every year they spend several weeks at New Hampton School to practice before going on tour. When conditions are right, they are even audible up here on Saddle Hill, which is 3 miles east and 500 feet higher than where they are playing!This is one of the major drum and bugle corps in the United States, and they travel over 10,000 miles each year on tour. This year they will roam as far west as Wisconsin and will also be down in Texas and Louisiana among other places.
