5 years ago today, this was my view out the window of a classic old Aloha Airlines 737 as we taxied in to the terminal at Lihue on Kauai.That mauka ridge to the rear in the distance looks totally benign, but in the 5 years since this picture was taken several people in tour helicopters have crashed into it within a 5 mile radius.
